Ranging Rangefinder 1000

This is the long distance rangefinder with a 6x magnifier that lets you measure targets over a half mile away. Like our other units, the 1000 is easily calibrated for long distance measurement. The eyepiece may be removed to function as a separate telescope.

A coincidence rangefinder is a precision optical device that uses a system of mirrors and beam-splitters to produce two separate images of an object. Look at the images through the viewfinder and adjust the distance-indicator knob until the two images become a single image. Then read the distance indicated on the knob.
