Our current priming tool model is the finest tool we have ever manufactured. Handloaders from around the world have told us that "this is the best priming tool available anywhere". Our customers have praised the high quality of craftsmanship, the quality of materials used, and most importantly, the great feel when using the tool.

The Sinlair Priming Tool comes complete with bushings and push pins for both large and small primers. The tool utilizes Lee Auto-Prime Shellholders to hold the cases in the priming tool head. When using our tool, the cases are inserted into the priming tool head and the head is turned to lock the cases into position. The primer is inserted into the primer pocket while it is square and perpendicular to the case head assuring correct alignment of the case and primer. The leverage of the tool is outstanding. We believe in seating primers by feel to alleviate differences in primer height. This tool will let you feel the primer anvil bottom out against the primer pocket.

Our tool is precision manufactured on state of the art CNC machinery. We use the highest quality material in making this tool. The head, the main body, and punch housings are made of stainless steel, the handle aircraft grade aluminum, and the pins and pushrods are made of hardened tool steel. This selection of the materials insures the owner a lifetime of trouble-free use. All internal parts are hand polished.

We know our tool is expensive, but the cost is the result of making them the way we do. If you want a more inexpensive tool we would suggest one of the other priming tools we carry. They do the job, but are generally made with plastic parts and cheaper pot metal castings. These cheaper tools will not generally hold up to a lifetime of heavy use. Additional priming tools heads are available for those who like to leave the shellholder installed for a quicker cartridge changeover.
